Our mission

contao.id was born out of the need to simplify and streamline the management of access and permissions across multiple Contao projects.

With years of experience in web development and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by agencies, freelancers and businesses, we have set ourselves the goal of developing a tool that makes access management for Contao projects a breeze.

Our platform also helps you improve security and save time by reducing the complexity of the login and onboarding process. Whether you manage one project or a dozen, contao.id helps you stay organised and focused.

contao.id was brought into the world by us out of our own need. On the occasion of the Contao Conference 2024 in Munich, we made the project publicly available.

We, 1up AG, are a small but excellent agency from the heart of Switzerland. Our team of specialists develops and orchestrates projects in the areas of software and web development.

Our goal is to make the everyday lives of our clients easier with innovative websites and web applications while enabling maximum value. To achieve this, we work with selected, high-quality partners in the areas of design, UX and content production.
